| dc.description.abstract | Este proyecto presenta el diseño mecánico de un módulo de cocción y preparación para una cocina móvil, destinado a facilitar la capacitación en prácticas alimentarias dentro de comunidades rurales. El sistema se caracteriza por ser plegable, permitiendo una configuración de transporte compacta y una configuración de uso desplegada que maximiza la superficie de trabajo. El desarrollo incluyó el modelado en CAD, análisis estructural mediante el método de elementos finitos para verificar esfuerzos, estabilidad frente al vuelco, cálculo de reacciones y dimensionamiento de componentes como patas telescópicas, pernos y uniones soldadas. El diseño integra materiales resistentes y acabados higiénicos conforme a normativas técnicas, garantizando durabilidad, seguridad ergonómica y facilidad de mantenimiento en entornos de campo. | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | This thesis addresses the design of a cooking and food preparation module for a mobile kitchen intended to support food safety training in rural communities, where limited infrastructure constrains its implementation. The objective of the project was to develop a functional, transportable, and field-adaptable technical solution integrating food preparation and cooking operations. To achieve this objective, technical, functional, and operational requirements were established based on an analysis of the intended operating environment, considering factors such as transportation in a pickup truck, operation on uneven terrain, and simultaneous use by multiple users. The design was developed using computer-aided design (CAD) tools and validated through structural simulations, stability analyses against overturning, and modal analysis. The results demonstrate that the proposed system exhibits high structural stiffness, minimal deformation, and high safety factors, while maintaining stability under representative operating loads and transportation conditions, including emergency braking scenarios. In addition, a comprehensive engineering package was developed, including manufacturing drawings, operation, maintenance, and fabrication manuals, as well as a cost estimation for the system. It is concluded that the proposed design satisfies the established requirements and represents a viable solution for implementation in real-world applications.
